Description
EDU 160 - Introduction to Program Evaluation This course will provide an overview of program evaluation techniques and strategies to evaluate how effective a program is in meeting its program goals. Students will learn to work with program staff and stakeholders to clarify a program?s operational goals and the impact of a program policy on specific community concerns. Course activities will focus on providing students with a hands-on-experience in specific research skills and tools required for effective program evaluation. Individual written assignments will build on each other over the course of the semester, culminating in a final paper documenting an evaluation plan for a real-world project.
