ARH 204: History of Native American Visual Cultures
Prerequisites: ARH 203 or permission of instructor
Credits: 3 cr. hr. (3 pds: 3 lec)
Course Description: This course provides a selective overview of the arts, societies, and histories of First Nation/Native American descendants in South, Central, and North America toinclude Canada, with a final focus on the Southwest cultural area. The arts and material culture of the Tohono O’odham will be examined in relation to those produced by other Native American cultures.
