Global change biology is a new field of biology which explores the consequences of global environmental change on humans and ecosystems. This course focuses on climate change as a key driver of environemtal change. Climate change is addressed by exploring causes of past and current climate change while providing a strong contexual setting for Native American students based on their own culture and traditional ecological knowledge. Lecture and lab are integrated in this class.
