CAG 112: Indian Gaming Law and Pollicy

Course Description:
This course will examine the historical framework of law and policy that encompasses Indian Gaming in the United States. It will examine Tribal Sovereignty, Federal Indian Law, and how it pertains to Indian gaming, State gaming compacts and Tribal law and policy. This class will pay close attention to the business side and regulatory side of Indian Gaming. The class will conclude with an examination of the economic impact gaming revenues and revenue sharing make on American Indian communities and their surrounding communities.
