Course Description: The course is an entry level course for students pursuing and ECE certificate or degree. The course provides an introduction to the field of Early Childhood Education (ECE) and an overview of the profession. Content includes an introduction to different types of programs for young children, professional roles and opportunities within the field, legal considerations in ECE, and key philosophies and theories of EarlyChildhood Education.
