This course provides students with age and developmentally appropriate strategies for creating a positive, socially-competent classroom community. The content includes: tools to identify and document behavioral concerns; effective classroom management techniques that reduce behavior problems with typically developing children; positive guidance and behavior management strategies for teaching children self-regulation skills and socially-acceptable interactions; and resources for assisting children with challenging behaviors.
