FOR 101 Introduction to Forestry and Natural Resource Management
Introduction to Forestry and Natural Resource Management provides a broad overview of forests, forestry, and natural resource management. The central theme is multiple-resource management, with a focus on timber and non-timber forest products, water, rangelands, and wildlife. The course has a strong emphasis on the Western United States and on sustainable management approaches that meet human needs, including how traditional ecological knowledge (TEK) can be used to inform and guide the management of natural resources.
