Description
Transition from arithmetic to algebra. Includes signed numbers, order of operations, polynomials, fractions, linear equations, area and perimeter, decimals, percent, and ratio and proportion. The second part is an introduction to basic algebra. Includes the real number system, algebraic expressions, linear equations and inequalities, integer exponents, polynomials, simple rational expressions, and square roots.
Class is 4 credits with 3 lecture periods and 3 lab periods with a total of 6 periods.
